Visitor Counting System & People Counter
Know how many people enter and leave your space, in real time, without cameras. The WELLPOINT People Counter is a small device with built-in mobile data that sends visitor counts to WELLPOINT.cloud from the moment it is powered.
What the WELLPOINT People Counter does
It answers a simple question: how many people came in, and how many went out. From those two numbers WELLPOINT.cloud calculates daily visitors, busy hours, trends over time and current occupancy.
Bidirectional IN / OUT counting
Each visitor is counted in the direction they move, so entries and exits are separate numbers.
Camera-free and privacy-friendly
The device uses Time-of-Flight sensing. No camera, no video, no faces, no personal data.
Real-time data
Counts are sent to WELLPOINT.cloud at short intervals, so you see today's visitors while the day is still running.
Built-in mobile data
A mobile data connection is built in and included in the service. No customer Wi-Fi, no firewall rules, no IT project.
How it works
Installation is a short, practical job that does not need a technician or a network engineer.
- Mount the device. It is usually fixed beside the entrance, on the door frame or wall at about 1.2 to 1.4 m height, facing across the doorway. Other positions are possible.
- Connect power. The counter runs from a standard USB power adapter.
- It connects by itself. The built-in mobile data connection is already active. If there is no mobile signal, Wi-Fi can be used as a fallback.
- Read the data in WELLPOINT.cloud. Name the device, set the counting direction, and watch the numbers arrive on the dashboard.
One device covers a typical doorway of up to about 2.4 m. Wider entrances use several linked devices. The current device is designed for indoor entrances.
Visitor analytics, not just a number on a display
Every counter sends its data to WELLPOINT.cloud, the shared WELLPOINT data platform. There you get:
- a live dashboard with today's visitors and visitors per hour;
- daily, weekly and monthly history and trends;
- current occupancy calculated from IN minus OUT, with threshold alerts;
- several locations and several devices in one account, with multiple users;
- CSV export for Excel and reporting;
- API access and ERP integration for moving the data into your own systems.

The WELLPOINT People Counter is sold as a device with a monthly service plan. The plan includes the mobile data connection and access to WELLPOINT.cloud. Plans differ in data history, sync interval and export options, so a single shop entrance and a multi-site organisation can both start small and scale.

Who makes it
WELLPOINT develops the People Counter hardware and the WELLPOINT.cloud software together, as one system. The device is designed, assembled and tested in the European Union. That is why the parts fit: the device knows how to talk to the cloud, and the cloud knows what the device can do.
