No individual monitoring
Restrooms are the most sensitive space in any building. The WELLPOINT People Counter is camera-free: it uses Time-of-Flight sensing to detect movement through the doorway and counts direction. It does not see, record or identify anyone. Only aggregated counts leave the device.
Easy to fit in an existing building
The device mounts beside the restroom door on the frame or wall at about 1.2 to 1.4 m, runs from a USB power adapter and sends data over its own built-in mobile data connection. No network cabling, no Wi-Fi configuration, no involvement of the tenant's IT department. This is what makes it practical for facility managers who look after many restrooms in many buildings.
