WELLPOINT RFID
Connected UHF RFID for inventory, tools, assets and loss prevention. WELLPOINT RFID systems arrive as complete, purpose-built solutions: reader, antennas, housing, connectivity and WELLPOINT.cloud, ready to work. RFID designed for fast deployment.

What WELLPOINT RFID is
UHF RFID lets you identify many tagged items at once, at a distance, without line of sight. WELLPOINT packages that capability into fixed systems that answer everyday operational questions: what is here, what is missing, what just passed this point.
Fixed readers
Permanently installed read points that detect tagged items in a defined zone, continuously and automatically.
RFID gates
Portal-style read points at doors, docks and shop exits that register tagged items passing through.
Suspended and wall-mounted
Read points mounted from the ceiling or on a wall to cover a workbench, a storage area or a vehicle interior.
Purpose-built boxed solutions
Reader, antennas, power and connectivity in one housing, designed for a specific use case rather than assembled from parts on site.
RFID without the long RFID project
Traditional RFID projects go through hardware selection, antenna planning, networking, reader configuration, middleware, integration and specialist installation before anyone sees a result. WELLPOINT's goal is to remove as much of that as possible.
- The system is designed for the use case, so hardware selection is already done.
- Built-in cellular connectivity: where used, the read point sends its data to WELLPOINT.cloud without touching the customer network. No local network required.
- Reader configuration and data handling live in WELLPOINT.cloud, not in on-site middleware.
- Installation is mounting and power, not a multi-week integration.
We avoid calling every configuration "plug and play". Some RFID environments need a site survey and tuning. But the aim is always the same: practical RFID systems that arrive ready to work.
Hardware and cloud designed together
WELLPOINT develops the RFID hardware and the WELLPOINT.cloud software as one system. The read point knows how to report to the platform, and the platform knows what the read point can do. Data about tagged items is available on a dashboard and can be moved into your own systems: CSV, API, ERP and BI.
Common use cases
Each use case has its own page that starts from the operational problem, not from radio terminology.

Learn moreHow a WELLPOINT RFID system works
- Tag the items. UHF RFID tags on tools, assets, cartons or garments. On-metal tags and protective housings for harsh environments.
- Install the read point. A fixed reader, gate, suspended or wall-mounted unit where the items live or pass.
- It connects. Built-in cellular connectivity where used, so data flows to WELLPOINT.cloud from day one.
- Use the data. Present, missing and movement information on the dashboard, and in your ERP, BI or automation via CSV and API.
A note on what we say and do not say
WELLPOINT RFID detects whether tagged items are present in a read zone or passed a read point, and when. That is what most operational problems need. It is not a real-time location system that shows an item's exact position on a map, and we do not describe it as one. Handheld readers and live stock management are directions we are working on and will publish when they are real products.
