Presence and last-seen, stated precisely
WELLPOINT RFID asset tracking is based on fixed read points. A read zone tells you which tagged assets are inside it now. A read point at a door or dock tells you which assets passed it and when. Together they give you presence per zone and the last place each asset was detected.
This is not a real-time location system. It does not show an asset's exact position on a floor plan. For most organisations, "it is in the workshop" or "it left through dock 2 at 14:10" is the information that actually saves time, and that is what the system delivers.
