RFID Retail Inventory
Know what inventory is present without relying entirely on manual counting. With RFID-tagged merchandise and WELLPOINT read points, a store sees which tagged items are in the stockroom, on the floor and passing the exit, as data rather than as a stock take.

What fixed RFID read points give a retailer
Tagged inventory
Garments, boxes and accessories with UHF RFID labels can be identified individually, in bulk, without line of sight.
Read zones
A fixed read point covering a stockroom shelf, a delivery area or a fitting-room return rail shows what tagged items are present there.
Movement
Gates at the stockroom door or shop exit register tagged items passing, so stock movement between areas is recorded automatically.
Stock visibility
Present-and-missing views in WELLPOINT.cloud, per read zone and per store.
Cycle counting
Zones that are read continuously do not need to be counted by hand; counting effort moves to the areas that are not covered.
Integration
CSV export, API and ERP integration so read data can meet the stock records in your retail system.
Designed to deploy in a shop, not a warehouse project
Store staff are not RFID engineers, and they should not need to be. WELLPOINT read points arrive as purpose-built units for a defined job: a gate for a door, a suspended or wall-mounted read zone for a stock area. Where built-in cellular connectivity is used, the unit reports to WELLPOINT.cloud without touching the store network. Installation is mounting and power.
Inventory and loss prevention together
The same RFID tags that make inventory visible can be detected at the exit. For retailers who want both, WELLPOINT combines inventory read points with RFID loss prevention and, where a traditional approach fits better, EAS anti-theft systems.
What WELLPOINT offers today is presence and movement data from fixed read points. Full live stock management across a whole store is a direction we are working towards, and we will describe it when it is a product.
