WELLPOINT for Retail
Understand traffic. Know inventory. Protect merchandise. Retail is where WELLPOINT started and where all three product families meet at the same shop door. This page shows why the WELLPOINT umbrella exists.

- Understand traffic
- + know inventory
- + protect merchandise
Understand traffic
A camera-free WELLPOINT People Counter at the entrance counts customers in and out. Footfall next to sales gives conversion; visitors per hour drive staffing; traffic history shows what campaigns did.
Know inventory
RFID read points in the stockroom and at doors show which tagged items are present and what moved, without a full manual count.
Protect merchandise, item by item
RFID loss prevention gates know which unpaid item left the store, using the same labels that make inventory visible.
Protect merchandise, the proven way
Traditional EAS anti-theft systems, RF or AM, for stores where merchandise is not RFID-tagged at source, backed by about 20 years of installations.

One door, several answers
The shop entrance already carries the EAS pedestal. The WELLPOINT People Counter mounts on it. An RFID gate can replace or complement the EAS antenna when merchandise is tagged. All of it reports to WELLPOINT.cloud, and none of it needs the store network where built-in cellular connectivity is used.
For a retailer, that means one supplier who understands the door, the till and the stockroom, and one place to see the data.
Start small, scale
Nothing here requires a large infrastructure project. Many retailers start with footfall at one store, add RFID where products are already tagged, and keep their EAS where it works. Each step is a short, practical deployment, and the data lands in the same account.
Store-level data can move on to your retail systems: CSV export, API and ERP integration.
